The materials provided, the dvd, the cd-rom were of unvaluable help. They did one of the best events ever! The rich materials could not be found anywhere else, so the interest, the commitment to the event and the public was big! Students and general public understood not only the history of the holocaust itself, but that genocide is not over; that pain made from human beings to other human beings is still real in today's world - our world. They understood that we must act, take a stand, do not accept any of this - anywhere, to anyone. Never again. |

I never knew what the Holocaust was really about until I learned about it in U.S. history. I also went online and did some personal research to learn more about the Holocaust. I actually never knew that six million people were killed until now. I am proud to be an American, and sorry for people who had to suffer during the Holocaust. I really don't understand how a human being can kill that many people. |

Racism, preduce, genocide- all on going problems that have been around since the dawn of time. Nobody can ever know the true reason for it, but still it all exists. There is no way to stop all of these, but we can work to make everyone aware of what happens to many jews, homosexuals, gypsies, mental and the physically ill people and even others who have and are losing their life based on the color of there skin, their beliefs, and the way they live there live. all we can do is work to better the on going generations and be the change that you want the world to be. I honor those who have lost their life and have nothing but total respect for them. They will always be remembered. |

A terrible blemish in the history of humanity. May every life that was lost be remembered and not be lost in vein. Learning about the holocaust was extremely touching to me and I pray for not only the victims lost in the genocide of the holocaust, but also many other people around the world in countries suffering from this awful crime. |

I heard on NPR that this was Holocaust remembrance week! My ESL class just finished reading Number the Stars by Lois Lowry and now they are working on presentations on other histories from the Holocaust. Some of my international students did not even know about this tragedy! I am so glad that our presentations coincide with national remembrance. |
